The bathtub tray is treated with hard wax oil. This highlights the natural grain of the wood while protecting it from external influences.
If you prefer a surface treatment with organic linseed oil, you are welcome to note this in your order. Oiling with our organic linseed oil preserves the natural feel of the wood completely. However, the oiled surface should be treated with more care, as water stains can form more easily, or staining may occur if left in standing water.
